1. Station Mechanic

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Start at $33.95/hr ($35.69/hr after 1,000 hrs) | Steady Hourly Pay & Overtime

Perform skilled maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on transit buses and related equipment following written instructions.
Diagnose problems in electrical circuits, make adjustments or replace electrical components (voltage regulators, relays), and perform wire soldering.
Perform adjustments, component replacements, and minor repairs to hoses, brake components, chassis, air/hydraulic components, and steering boxes.
Handle component replacements (alternators, fuel pumps, oil pumps, cylinder heads, air conditioning units) and maintain high-precision work standards.

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no air brake restrictions (training provided) and successful completion of BSDA Mechanic's Training Program (or previously qualified).
