Reports to: Director of Services

Job Purpose: To provide electrical and mechanical streetcar maintenance activities including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and corrective action in both scheduled and unscheduled formats.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze work orders and perform assigned tasks.
• Investigate maintenance issues.
• Diagnose errors and technical problems and repair.
• Maintain customer relationships and confidence.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Provide emergency repair and service on location.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Comply with all safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports.
• Document services performed.
• Track time and materials for services rendered.
• Utilize and maintain required PPE.
• Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner.
• Other functions as assigned.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without accommodations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate Degree in Electrical field preferred.
• At least one year of Electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem analysis and problem resolutions skills.
• Active listening and learning skills.
• Valid MI Driver’s License.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues on equipment.
