INIT Innovations in Transportation, Inc. is looking for a Proposal Manager to join our team. We are an established industry-leading provider of advanced IT management systems for public transit. The Proposal Manager works closely with a team of subject matter experts to create winning proposals. A significant portion of the job is calculating costs and pricing for complex IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate costs and pricing

• Manage the proposal process from kick-off to submission

• Provide detailed guidance to proposal contributors, subject matter experts, and subcontractors

• Moderate meetings with subject matter experts and management.

• Contribute by writing proposal documents as needed

• Manage Review Process and ensure high quality

• Continuously help improve the proposal process and standardize materials

Skills Required:

• Detail-oriented

• Organized

• Excellent math and Excel skills

• Collaborate effectively with proposal contributors

• Ability to manage time, prioritize and meet deadlines

• Technical background and desire to learn new technologies

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Work independently with minimal supervision

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products—particularly Excel and Word

• Knowledge of the public transit industry is ideal
