Metro Transit's Rail Division has exciting opportunities for Rail Track and Right of Way (ROW) Maintainers! Rail is looking for dependable, detail-oriented Track and ROW Maintainers to perform journey-level trades work to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, repair, weld, upgrade and conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance on track, special track work, track switches, aerial and tunnel structures and supports, retaining walls, fencing, and associated equipment and components.
Link Light Rail Metro Transit's Rail Division is responsible for operating and maintaining Link Light Rail service on a 24.7 mile route from south of Sea-Tac Airport to Northgate. Expansion over the next five years alone will include the addition of more than 20 stations and 40 miles of light rail track which is a critical part of the region's transportation network. The light rail line is a critical part of the region's transportation network and carries more than 79,000 weekday daily riders. Working in Rail offers a wide variety of opportunities to showcase your skills as the Rail Division grows. This planned growth will create many promotional and training opportunities for personnel.
The Current hourly rates are: Dayshift $30.42-$43.46 | Swing shift $31.94-$45.63 | Graveyard shift $32.70-$46.72
