DASH is looking for enthusiastic B-Mechanics to join our team! Please apply if you satisfy the minimum job requirements listed below.

Position Requirements
  • Performs all levels of Preventative Maintenance Inspection on all DASH vehicles.
  • Perform all levels of repairs on all DASH vehicles, diagnosing equipment for proper repairs.
  • Request and order required parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Open work-order for all repairs or service / inspections.
  • Test drive vehicle for verification of proper operation.
  • Follow established procedures / OEM procedures for all maintenance/repairs.
  • Works independently while performing job.
  • Reads and understands repair manuals.
  • Reads and understands wiring schematics.
  • Knowledge of compulsory DOT requirements.
  • Daily use of computer for work-orders and looking up equipment.
  • Assists other mechanics when necessary.
  • Maintains working area cleanliness and organization.
  • Daily use of hand tools, pneumatic tools and hydraulic tools including ancillary shop equipment.
  • Makes road calls or service calls.
  • Cooperatively and efficiently performs related tasks and duties as required.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Relevant technical school training is beneficial but not required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of vehicle maintenance or mechanic experience required. Diesel mechanic experience is preferred.
  • Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of educational background.
