The METRO Green Line Extension (Southwest LRT or SWLRT) will serve downtown Minneapolis and the communities of St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka, and Eden Prairie. The line will include 16 new stations and will be part of an integrated system of transitways, including connections to the METRO Blue Line, the Northstar Commuter Rail line, and many bus routes. At Target Field Station in Minneapolis, Green Line Extension trains will continue along the METRO Green Line, providing one-seat rides to the University of Minnesota, State Capitol area, and downtown St. Paul.

As a Change Control Administrator (Contract Administrator or Principal Contract Administrator) you will assist in managing capital construction project contracts by: reviewing contract change order requests for merit and overall impact to the project and making recommendations to the project Council Authorized Representative and Construction Manager; preparation of cost estimates and contract change order language; preparation of official change order correspondence to project consultants and contractors; assisting in maintaining project's electronic management system; assisting with the preparation and/or review of agreements and approvals; and preparing and tracking required FTA documentation.

Depending on candidate qualifications this position will be filled either as Principal Contract Administrator OR Contract Administrator.

Principal Contract Administrator (Non Represented/Grade I - Exempt)

Full Grade I Salary Range: $81,286 - $122,699

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering AND five (5) years of progressively responsible project, construction or contract management experience; OR
• Associate's degree in Construction Management, or a related field, AND seven (7) years of progressively responsible project, construction or contract management experience; OR
• High school diploma, or GED, AND nine (9) years of progressively responsible project, construction or contract management experience.

Contract Administrator (Non-Represented, Grade G - Nonexempt)

Full Grade I Salary Range: $69,534 - $104,957

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering AND three (3) years of progressively responsible project, construction or contract management experience; OR
• Associate degree in Construction Management, or a related field, AND five (5) years of progressively responsible project, construction or contract management experience; OR
• High school diploma, or GED, AND seven (7) years of progressively responsible project, construction or contract management experience.
