OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking a professional to fill the position of Field Specialist.

The Field Specialist performs intermediate technical work providing customer service field support, assisting with customer complaint investigations and service issues, conducting stationary checks, auditing records to ensure compliance and providing recommendations, conducting field observations, recognizing safety and service deficiencies and recommending improvements, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Applicants should have general knowledge of bus operations, commercial driving, or general transportation, as well as, general knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices and procedures. Applicants must also have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form, as well as the ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public. This position must work outside in all weather conditions. A valid commercial driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required.

Associates/Technical degree in business administration, or related field and moderate experience in fieldwork, customer service, data entry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Starting salary range is $42,542.19 - $55,304.85 depending on experience, plus attractive benefits.
