National Express Transit (NEXT) is a rapidly growing provider of transit, paratransit, and shuttle services for transit authorities, municipalities and other clients across the country. NEXT is the US-based public transportation division of UK-based National Express Group, providers of nearly one billion safe journeys each year.

We are currently interviewing for several new and exciting Management opportunities for a proposed business opportunity in Lancaster, CA.

Some of the opportunities include:

• General Manager - must have a minimum of five years supervisory experience in public transportation operations or a related industry (at least two being in commuter and fixed route service environments)

• Operations Manager - At least three years of supervisory experience in provide transportation services

• Safety/Training Manager - Transit Safety Institute (TSI) certified

• Maintenance Manager - must have a minimum of five years journey-level mechanic experience and a minimum of three years’ experience in maintenance supervision of ten or more mechanics. The Maintenance Manager must be legal licensed to operate a bus in the State of California with a valid Class B license and any other licenses or certificates required by applicable federal, state, or local regulations
