Spokane Transit is in the middle of a dynamic 10-year plan called STA Moving Forward. The purpose of this plan is to maintain, improve, and expand transit services throughout Spokane County to meet the needs of our growing community. We are currently searching for a Vehicle Maintenance Manager to lead and manage our vehicle maintenance team.
As the Vehicle Maintenance Manager you will provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Fixed Route and Paratransit Vehicle Maintenance Departments and contracted fleet maintenance services. You will provide direction and policy guidance, supervise and schedule activities for over 90 employees to ensure the safe, proper, and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair for a fleet of over 400 vehicles. Your duties will also include monitoring vendor performance, negotiating and resolving identified discrepancies and warranty issues.
