The Transit & Parking Coordinator supports the administration of the Transit and Parking programs for the City of Rochester. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: assisting in the management of contracts and leases, inspecting and coordinating maintenance for transit and parking facilities, providing project management support for parking capital improvement projects, maintaining equipment inventory, performing accounting and cost recovery functions, and performing other related duties as required. Additionally, the Parking and Transit Coordinator supports the City's paratransit services, coordinates employee parking and transit passes and oversees the administration of affiliate sponsorship programs. This individual works closely with contracted service providers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Contract or Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or closely related field and two (2) years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Contract or Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or closely related field and six (6) years of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license and is also required.

Starting salary range of $68,066 to $74,073 depending on qualifications, with advancement to $96,095. An excellent benefits package is included. Applications will be accepted until the vacancy is filled with those received by April 7, 2021, receiving priority consideration.
