King County Metro Transit is seeking a dynamic leader to develop and manage the employee health and wellbeing program, including strategies to respond to employee needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 is necessitating a change in the way we do business, and the health and wellbeing needs of our employees are very important. The Metro Transit Wellness Manager will oversee health and wellbeing programming -- identifying and developing wellness activities and programs that are tailored to the needs and interests of Metro’s diverse workforce.

The successful candidate will take a "by employees, for employees" approach by engaging with employees in the design, implementation, and evaluation of wellness services. They will bring creativity and a passion for meaningful employee engagement and a track record in project management, with experience in health promotion and wellness. This position will report directly to the Organizational Health and Development Manager as part of the Organizational Health and Development team.
