Easton Coach Company is headquartered in Easton, Pennsylvania, with numerous additional operations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2013 we were Metro magazine’s seventh largest private US bus company specializing in both paratransit and motorcoach services for over 25 years.

We are seeking a qualified Assistant General Manager to join our NJ paratransit operations.

Minimum requirements are:

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Three plus years transportation management experience with paratransit company preferred

• Proficient and knowledgeable in Trapeze PASS system

• CDL Class and Passenger Endorsement required

• Effective coaching and mentoring abilities

• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Duties and responsibilities include:

• On-site and on-call assists and supports the General Manager in being responsible for all aspects of the operation

• Manage the project in the absence of the General Manager, to ensure no interruption in on-site management coverage.

• Performs all System Administration duties and will provide operations supervisory coverage in the absence of Operations Supervisor staff

• Oversees activities directly related to providing transportation services

• Manages staff, prepares work schedules and assigns specific duties

• Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures

• Determines staffing requirements and interviews, hires and trains new employees, or oversees these personnel processes

• Monitors spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets

• Directs investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints

• Collaborates with other managers and staff members to enforce policies and procedures

• Prepares billing, or oversees the billing process

• Promotes safe work activities by participating in safety audits, attending company safety meetings and meeting with individual employees
