The City and County of Honolulu is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer - Train Control Systems, for the nation's first driverless metro system.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for overseeing the administration, operations and support of train control systems and infrastructure to achieve established availability and service levels and ensure compliance with train operations standards, guidelines, regulatory, and statutory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a bachelors degree in computer engineering or an engineering specialty and five years of experience performing engineering work involving electronic control systems, computer hardware and software as a primary function, three of which must have included working in a rail operations and maintenance environment. This position requires a valid driver's license.
