Enghouse Transportation is currently looking for a Senior Sales executive to lead the North America sales team. The successful candidate will lead a geographically dispersed team responsible for developing revenue through new and existing channel partners, new direct business, and strategic account development. This position is preferably based in Markham, Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Focused on new account acquisition (Sales Hunter) and revenue growth

  • Build and nurture a steady pipeline that consistently generates new business

  • Develop strategically viable and well-planned sales opportunities with a target set of accounts/customers.

  • Establish sales targets to meet company objectives and identify high-potential accounts within assigned territories

  • Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out sales and service initiatives

  • Manage complex sales cycles including navigating transit authority/government organizations and multiple selling strategies

  • Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives

  • Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements

  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses

  • Responsible and committed to effectively organizing workload to exceed sales metrics and accurately forecast all revenue opportunities in a timely manner

  • Proposal response and strategy are also important elements of the day-to-day tasks

  • Travel up to 50% of the time; working at account sites, conferences, exhibitions and workshops

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field or equivalent experience

  • Transit software experience and/or IVR experience is considered an asset

  • Accomplished high-energy salesperson with five years of Enterprise level sales experience in Emergency Services, Logistics, or Transportation Software.

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and ability to use interpretative skills to understand and relate industry/client requirements are essential

  • Proven track record selling enterprise solutions, preferably in the transit industry

  • Tech savvy and comfortable demonstrating key technology concepts

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level

  • Ability to logically communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, inter-personal skills and presentation skills
