The position of
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) directs and controls all of the Agency's activities in the areas of financial management; guides and monitors the operations of Finance, Budget, Procurement, Material Control, and Risk Management and Safety; and advises the Chief Executive Officer CEO and the Board of Directors (BOD) on fiscal management/planning matters for the Agency.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in finance, accounting, business, public administration, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible financial management experience which includes at least five years of experience at a middle or senior management level, in a function similar in size and scope.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Desired Qualifications: - Master's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in finance, accounting, business, public administration, economics, or a related field highly desired.
- Familiarity with transit or transportation system activities and functions.
