Eagle County Government is hiring a Regional Transportation Director to join our progressive, service-oriented transit department. The director will oversee the operation of the multi-modal mass transportation system, develop methods for collaboration with other transportation entities and implement innovative ideas to improve access for Eagle County residents, creating a better Eagle County for all.

Some of the projects already underway include: -Delivery of short and long range initiatives and programs identified in the recently completed Transit Development Plan and First/Last Mile Study -Implementation of a ride information system, called the Transit Hub, that will connect multiple transportation districts in one place -Roll-out of electric buses and infrastructure

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Ten years experience in transportation or related field, with five years of supervisory experience. Government experience preferred.
