The Missoula Urban Transportation District is seeking a dynamic leader for the position of Director of Finance and Administration. This senior management position works directly with the General Manager and assists in the determination and implementation of short and long-range goals and strategies and has the overall responsibility for managing and providing leadership to the agency’s administration department. The position provides leadership to the agency’s staff as it relates to policies and procedures, and administers and oversees the finance functions, asset management, and human relations program.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA is preferred. Transit industry knowledge is preferred. Five years’ experience in accounting principles and practices and business administration is preferred. Must have experience in management and supervision, budgeting, planning, and policy administration.
