Easton Coach Company is headquartered in Easton, Pennsylvania, with numerous additional operations throughout eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2013 we were Metro magazine’s seventh largest private US bus company specializing in both paratransit and motorcoach services for over 25 years.

We are seeking a qualified General Manager for proposed business in Eastern Pennsylvania and Northwestern New Jersey.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth in an expanding management role.

Minimum requirements are:

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Five to ten years of Transportation management experience

• Working knowledge of Ecolane scheduling software.

• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

• Transportation experience required (Smith System and DriveCam experience preferred)

• Effective coaching and mentoring abilities

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversees activities directly related to providing transportation services

• Manages staff, prepares work schedules and assigns specific duties

• Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures

• Determines staffing requirements and interviews, hires and trains new employees, or oversees these personnel processes

• Monitors spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets

• Directs investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints

• Collaborates with other managers and staff members to enforce policies and procedures

• Prepares billing, or oversees the billing process

• Promotes safe work activities by participating in safety audits, attending company safety meetings and meeting with individual employees
