JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Project Manager works in collaboration with operations, corporate support departments, to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services are provided. Will act as the internal liaison between departments and clients to ensure that the location is fully compliant with all contractual requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions of The Job
  • Contract oversight and facilitation of client needs with anticipation of growth

  • Continually analyze program needs and productivity

  • Adjust staffing and resources to ensure cost effectiveness

  • Thorough understanding of contract and awareness of changes

  • Thorough understanding of GC Logistics policies and employee handbook guidelines

  • Develop a working relationship with Greater Cleveland Rural Transit Authority (GCRTA) and GC Logistics (GCL) Assessment Staff

  • Manage staffing events.

  • Maintain a “Safety First” attitude with client and personnel


Qualifications:

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience substituting on a 1 for 1 year basis with equivalent experience in a related field.

Minimum Experience, Abilities Required and Special Requirements
  • Experience establishing key processes and procedures

  • Proven experience supervising and monitoring the delivery of contractual services

  • Prior contract and project management experience preferred

  • Transportation Management experience and working with people with disabilities is preferred

  • Ability to schedule, organize and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future


Physical Requirements of the Job
Employee must have clear, close vision for reading and computer work. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, balance, stoop, grasp, talk, hear and operate computer keyboard. Job may require reaching at shoulder level and below waist. Will occasionally lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds and carry objects 50 feet. This position may require both local and overnight travel.

Mental Requirements of the Job
Reading, simple math calculations, withstanding moderate amounts of stress, the need to concentrate for extended periods of time, the ability to balance numerous tasks at one time.

Work Environment
Normal office environment and in the field environment with exposure to various weather conditions.

Mandatory Overtime
Mandatory overtime should be expected.

Drug Testing
All employees are subject to Pre-employment, Random, Post Accident and Reasonable suspicion drug testing. This testing is can be through LeFleur Transportation Authority or regulatory authority such as the US Department of Transportation or Federal Transit Administration.
