Escambia County BCC is seeking a Transit Supervisor.

Salary Range: $40,352 - $46,883

Summary
This position has direct oversight of vehicle operators; ensuring that public timetable/schedules, pre-trip vehicle inspections, customer service issues and vehicle availability meet the demand for passenger trips; and monitor driver performance, adherence to rules and regulations, and training. Act as the Coordinator with the public, drivers and staff; and be responsible for scheduling and coordinating transit services using a computerized scheduling system in order to provide transportation for the maximum number of riders in the most economical and punctual manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and three years of work experience in transit operations

• Associate degree and prior supervisory preferred

Licensing Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement
