Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered, a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic Rail Transit Signal and Control Engineer.

***This is a variable Part-Time position on an as needed basis***

Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing electronic and related rail transit signal and control systems, with at least 3 of the 7 years in passenger rail or related transportation modes.

Must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering or a license as an engineer.

License as a Professional Engineer is required

Knowledge of experience with Positive Train Control, Communications Based Train Control, Control Center Engineering, and/or railroad block signal systems, and associated communication and control systems as required by the project is desired.
