Summary Nashville MTA has a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who has the skills, poise and enthusiasm to develop, schedule and deliver training programs to maintenance employees through classroom and hands-on instruction, training flashes, webinars and in-house TV. This position reports to the Training Manager.
The Ideal Candidate - Understands the training requirements relating to all aspects of the job duties of all maintenance employees
- Possesses excellent presentation skills
- Possesses a clear, understandable writing style
- Has superior computer skills and is adept in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Can coordinate the Apprenticeship Program, evaluate candidate performance and recommend advancement status.
- Provides training for CDL A & B license testing
- Can handle rodeo set-up, testing and maintenance employee preparation
- Ensures third-party training standards
Qualifications Possess an associate or bachelor’s degree and at least four years of professional experience as a mechanic and/or maintenance trainer. Possess a CDL A license.
