MTM, Inc. continues to grow and we are seeking a General Manager!

The General Manager works in collaboration with operations, MTM support departments, and transportation providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services. The General Manager also acts as the internal liaison between MTM departments and Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) to ensure that MTM is fully compliant with the contractual requirements for the LAVTA Wheels brokerage.

This position is located at our office in Livermore, CA.

Responsibilities:

Provide oversight of direct and non-direct reports to ensure business outcomes and contract goals are defined and met

Learn and understand all aspects of the contract

Plan continuously for growth and issue resolution

Review service delivery to ensure that the brokerage is being operated and delivered in the most cost effective means possible

Responsible for building (or assuring building of) required documents and Work Plans as needed Through in-services and trade shows, present positive image of MTM

Keep abreast of changes to LAVTA Wheels program rules, regulations and policies Work with the Client to follow through on service issues, trouble-shooting problems and concerns, complaints and education

Act as a liaison between MTM and external stakeholders to educate on MTM services and ensure customer satisfaction

Identify and manage stakeholders’ expectations during all phases of the contract

Provide ongoing, day-to-day service support to Client personnel

Present annual plan reviews and work in a consultative manner with Client

Inform clients of new items relating to the Paratransit industry and/or MTM services

Address all issues in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the client and MTM

Acquire a good understanding of LAVTA local climate and issues pertaining to the passenger transportation industry, specifically the paratransit, livery and ambulate sectors

Maintain active involvement in passenger transportation programs and transportation related conferences/seminars

Ensure ongoing compliance to MTM’s Quality Management Program

Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of MTM Transportation Guidelines and Vendor Quality Improvement Program

Provide necessary data and information to MTM staff assisting in the continuous monitoring and coordination of quality management activity; i.e. credentialing, re-credentialing, and quality management

Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of MTM departments

Prepare for, coordinate, and conduct, quarterly in-services with Client Educate Client on MTM procedures and services

Be available as Client’s key contact for any issues relating to the program

Address all issues in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the client and MTM

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Previous operations management experience in the brokerage, para-transit or transit industries

Moderate to advanced computer skills

Proven experience supervising and monitoring the delivery of contractual services

Knowledge of budgets and cost analysis

Proven experience in operations and management of staff

Required experience in developing, promoting, and building key relationships with all key stakeholders

Knowledge of managed care, quality improvement, contracting

Experience establishing key processes and procedures

Prior project or contract management experience preferred

Previous experience working with brokerage model or large trip volume operations preferred Must possess a valid driver’s license

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of MTM and LAVTA operations

Ability to schedule, organize and prioritize multiple tasks

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Data analysis and interpretation skills, problem solving skills

Must be able to handle questions and resolve issues in a constructive manner

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and job positions
