National Express Transit (NEXT) is a rapidly growing provider of transit, paratransit, and shuttle services for transit authorities, municipalities and other clients across the country. NEXT is the US-based public transportation division of UK-based National Express Group, providers of nearly one billion safe journeys each year. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for a proposed business opportunity in Baltimore, MD.

Key personnel should have the following qualifications:

*Minimum of five (5)or more years of Fleet Supervisor experience in with Heavy/Med Duty vehicles

*Minimum of seven to ten years Auto / Truck or Bus mechanical repair experience

*Experience with Compliance with the local applicable DOT compliance of Med/Heavy Trucks

*Prefer ASE Certification as a Master Automotive Technician and/or a Master Truck Technician

*Background in planning and scheduling maintenance repairs (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)

*Supervisory experience in purchasing and budget management experience

The Maintenance Manager shall be responsible for the customer satisfaction, productivity, technical skills and knowledge, teamwork, personal and facility image and safety as well as a commitment to Excellence.
