VIA Metropolitan Transit is currently seeking candidates for the position of Manager of Sales and Rideshare Services. This position will be responsible for the implementation of transit benefit programs, maximizing agency sales revenue, ridership opportunities and increased awareness among various target markets. Also oversees the consignment and sales of fare media to businesses and retail outlets and maintain retailer relationships. Responsible for initiating production and distribution of customer information and printed materials pertinent to sales and outreach efforts Develops and delivers customized presentations to area businesses and business oriented agencies to increase awareness of customer / employee transit programs and rideshare opportunities with the goal of increasing sales and ridership. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Sales or related field. Related experience may be substituted. Five years of responsible management and supervisory experience in managing a sales team within a business, community or transportation/government organization and demonstrated work history in successfully meeting established sales goals or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
