OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Project Manager, Data and Analysis.
The Project Manager performs technical work preparing spreadsheets for grant funded routes, overseeing the National Transit Database to generate federal funding, developing ridership figures, analyzing data and organizational key performance indicators using statistical methods in order to make operational decisions, managing new farebox technologies, developing and maintaining dashboards and reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Applicants must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, query, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in word processing, database and spreadsheet software; knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.) is a must.
Required education and experience: Bachelor's degree with coursework in public administration, business, computer science, or related field and two (2) years’ experience in project management, grant preparation, planning and public policy, statistics, maintaining and preparing data sets, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting salary range is $68,636 - $89,227 depending on experience, plus attractive benefits. Some telework will be available. Employment subject to background check and fingerprinting. PRTC is a drug-free workplace. EOE.
