RATP Dev USA manages and operates transit systems throughout the United State with a focus on fixed route, paratransit, and streetcar operations in urban and rural areas. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position will lead our Information Technology Systems initiatives, based at our USA headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. This role will require travel to field locations as needed.

Position Overview:
The IT Manager will be responsible for the implementation and management of Information Technology solutions and processes that will be necessary for the efficient delivery of daily activities and services. The role will be initially focused on the implementation of a Safety Management System, in collaboration with our parent company’s global IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

Short Term Mission

  • In collaboration with the group IT Team, participate in the definition and the implementation of the Information Systems Strategy in RATP Dev NA BUS and its subsidiaries

  • In collaboration with group IT Team, lead the implementation of the Safety Management System within all US subsidiaries. Manager all scope of actions from project management, set up and administration.
Long Term Mission
  • Manage IT sourcing & procurement in particular the local helpdesk support, network and US Business Unit software providers

  • Implement in the US the IT Security & Software policies defined at the group level

  • Manage IT in maintaining compliance with PCI standards, backup policies, and other Corporate IT Security Standards

  • Be the point of contact for the Group IT Team for all aspects regarding IT for the BU - Facilitate key communication between IT and other departments when emergencies arise maintain ability to be flexible to company needs during emergency situations

  • Administrate for the US perimeter the office 365 platform, in particular on the SharePoint online document management system
  • Analyse new IT request coming from the key users & implement or forward to group level to support

  • Implement business intelligence solutions: define the technical specifications regarding data sources & kpi/dashboard, identify the consultants/partners required to implement and pilot the solution

  • Lead and coordinate IT integration activities required when new contracts are gained or companies acquired

  • IT project management

    • Analyse, formalise and challenge business requests regarding new need linked to IT

    • Identify with the help of the group IT team technical solution that could meet the requirement

    • If local solution is to be chosen, implement the project with the required external resources

    • Ensure required communication to the end users & central IT team

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in information technology or related field. A Masters degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years previous IT experience. Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies

  • An operational experience would be a plus for the applicant as he/she will have to interact with RATP US staff in the different subsidiaries, with on site visit

  • Goal-oriented and possesses the ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an ever-changing environment.

  • Strong customer-service orientation with superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Business Intelligence Expertise, Ideally with Qliksense solution

  • Knowledge of technology and software used in transport industry

  • Knowledge of IT operating systems & network in Windows Environment

  • Ability to work with many cross-functional internal and external partners.

  • Collaborative problem-solving skills and a natural investigative mind set.

  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach.

  • Unquestionable integrity and the ability to handle sensitive issues.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
