In this dynamic role, you'll lead the development and management of fixed-route bus scheduling and service changes, from modifying running times and adjusting trip schedules to realigning routes and expanding or reducing services. You'll prepare efficient work assignments for bus operators, oversee all service-related projects, and ensure timely and budget-friendly improvements. Using GIS and scheduling software, you'll craft maps, notices, and route descriptions, engage with bus operators and the public, and keep rider tools and public-facing data accurate. Analyzing service change effectiveness, you'll inform future improvements, driving innovation and enhancing transit offerings for our community.
