COAST is a seeking an experienced transit professional to become our next Operations Supervisor.

The Operations Supervisor takes an active role in supporting, overseeing, and directing daily transit operations of operators and vehicle cleaners. This closing shift has special responsibility for overseeing the vehicle cleaning operation in the evening. Operations Supervisors investigate and respond to collisions, safety incidents, customer complaints, and workplace violations. Additionally, this role routinely covers dispatch and driving shifts to ensure smooth operations.

This Operations Supervisor will be one of three in the organization and will work the closing shift, 2:30pm – 11:00pm Monday – Friday. This position is also part of an on-call rotation for Saturdays, covering approximately one out of every three Saturdays.

Candidates must possess a valid class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction. Candidates must have a valid DOT Medical Certificate.

Positions in this job classification are considered safety-sensitive and are subject to drug testing, including random drug screens, in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol regulations.

Starting hourly pay is $33.60 / hour. The position is eligible for overtime and a range of additional benefits.
