SYSTEM DESIGN SERVICES

Valley Metro requests interested parties to submit Statements of Qualifications for System Design Services.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Valley Metro has several Light Rail projects that require systems design work associated with the existing alignment and new extensions. The light rail extension projects include Capitol / I-10 West, Northwest Phase 2, South Central in Phoenix, OMC Expansion and other rail program services as deemed appropriate.

The Projects shall include stations, Park and Rides (PNRs), embedded trackwork, traction power substations, signals for crossovers and at gated intersections, communications, and ticket vending machines. The system elements shall be consistent and seamlessly compatible with existing Valley Metro corridors and systems.

The Systems Design Consultant shall work under the direction of the Valley Metro Project Manager. The Systems Design Consultant shall coordinate design efforts with Valley Metro (including the CM@Risk Contractor) and the City of Phoenix.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. MST at Valley Metro, 101 N. 1st Avenue, 13th Floor, Conference Room A, Phoenix, Arizona 85003.

Submittal Due Date/Time: Wednesday, June 14, 2017 by 3:00 P.M. MST. Proposals received after the specified time will not be accepted.

The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) documents are now available for downloading. Interested firms may log in and download the RFQ documents at Valley Metro’s E-Procurement Website https://valleymetro.procureware.com/home.

Questions relating to this solicitation shall be submitted within Valley Metro’s E-Procurement Website, https://valleymetro.procureware.com/home by selecting the Clarifications Tab. Questions will be answered via the E-Procurement Website.

Valley Metro reserves the right to cancel this solicitation or reject any and all Proposals.
