General Manager Position

We are seeking an General Manager who will control the daily operation of our Paratransit service, in compliance with the policies of Pennsylvania Paratransit and in conformance with company procedures. This position will hold responsibility for daily system performance in all functions of operations, including supervising dispatchers, drivers, safety, and training. He/she will also act as a company liaison to passengers, clients, and community members. The General Manager is also responsible for on-time performance, productivity, equipment, and driver availability.

Responsibilities:

Effectively manage on-time performance and driver availability.

Effectively manage all call center functions.

Effectively manage customer relations through both direct contact and outreach programs.

Effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members.

Assist in overseeing plans and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory requirements.

Contributes to maintain the safety culture of the division.

Maintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations.

Assist with conducting periodic departmental audits.

Daily, weekly, and monthly review of key operational metrics.

Implement, promote, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Participates in location labor and employee relations activities.

Requirements:

Must be able to work independently and have strong written, verbal, and communication skills.

At least five (5) years Experience Managing 100+ Paratransit Busses.

Experience in a Paratransit position and in scheduling, personnel management, and training.

Knowledge of the contractual obligations, and of company policy, assures that the Road Supervisor is using consistent measures to assess a driver's activity, and is a must to perform this job correctly

Computer and financial skills required.

Time management skills and HR skills.

Working knowledge of MS Office.

Strong analytical skills.

High degree of multi-tasking skills.

Pre-employment drug screening and background check is required.
