Become a part of our Connect Transit team as a Maintenance Manager. This position will supervise the maintenance department and provide direct, daily management of all fleet and facility maintenance activities for Connect Transit. Other duties include participation in transit service planning, managing emergency response situations, preparation of reports and preparation of the Maintenance Department budget. Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management, two years staff management experience and 3 years of experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational school and ASE certifications are highly desirable. A compelling combination of education, relevant training and work experience may be considered in place of the above requirements. Experience in public transit, Fleet-Net software and managing unionized work environments strongly preferred.
