- Q. Is there a cost to use TransitTalent.com?
- A. Job Seekers: TransitTalent.com is a free service for job seekers. You can search for jobs, post a resume, and manage your searches with the Job Seeker Folder feature. You also can receive free job announcements by e-mail.
- Employers: Job ads are $95 each, and run for 5 weeks. Access to our resume database is included with the price of a paid ad. You can post a job advertisement, or e-mail your opening to [email protected]. Include contact information for billing purposes. Ads are posted the same day we receive them (including weekends). We will send you a bill. If you just want to access our resume database, the cost is $95 for a five-week subscription. Call (310) 375-6413 to set up an account.

- Searching for Jobs
- Q. How do I search for job openings?
- A. Use our job search feature to find jobs across multiple categories, sectors and locations.

- Logging In
- Q. I can't seem to log in to my account. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
- A. Make sure you're logging into the right account. Sometimes users try to log into the Job Seeker Folder when they mean to access their Employer Folder. Also make sure you're logging in with the same e-mail address and password that was used to create the account. Forgot your password?

- Resume Duration
- Q. How long will my resume remain in the database?
- A. We typically let resumes run for six months. However, resume listings can be deleted or renewed at any time by the user.

- Resume Privacy
- Q. Who can see my resume?
- A. We give users two options when storing their resume on our site: they can make it "private"or "public." A private resume is not searchable in our database and is available only to companies to which you apply on our site. A public resume can be viewed by bonafide employers who sign up to search our resume database. Also, resumes submitted to our database are not distributed or shared with other job sites or employment agencies.

- Editing Your Resume
- Q. My resume has changed since I applied for a job. How will employers know about my updated resume?
- A. Go to your Job Seeker Folder to edit your resume; it will automatically update the online resume that employers see.

- Cover Letters
- Q. I forgot to include a cover letter when I applied to a job. Can I submit one now?
- A. You can only include a cover letter when you initially apply for a job. You also cannot edit a cover letter already submitted.

- Q. When does my Employer Folder membership expire?
- A. Your Employer Folder never expires.

- Job Notification
- Q. Can I alter or delete my job notification search once it starts?
- A. No. The best thing to do is to shorten your search duration. You can also submit multiple searches using the same e-mail address.

- Job Seeker Folder
- Q. When does my Job Seeker Folder become active, and for how long?
- A. Your Job Seeker Folder becomes active as soon as you submit a resume to our database. It will stay active as long as you keep your resume stored in our system. Use the Job Seeker Folder feature to edit, renew or delete your resume.
