REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CONTRACTED TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
MCDONOUGH COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM


The City of Macomb, Illinois is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, companies or agencies for Contracted Transportation Services for the operation of the fixed route (Go West) service for the McDonough County Public Transportation.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) document describing the operations and bidding qualifications may be obtained from Terry Roegge, Director of Purchasing, Western Illinois University, 1 University Circle, Macomb, Illinois 6145, by telephone (309) 298-1819, or email ([email protected]). Sealed Statements of Qualifications must be submitted to Terry Roegge, 227 Sherman Hall, 1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455 by 2:00pm, Tuesday March 30, 2010. Qualification statements must be submitted according to the instructions and requirements set forth in the RFQ, and must be hand delivered or sent through U.S. Mail or other available courier services. Qualification statements will not be accepted by fax or by email.

The City of Macomb reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals. Acceptance of any firm is subject to concurrence by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Any contracts resulting from the RFP process are subject to financial assistance contracts between the City of Macomb and the Illinois Department of Transportation. The City of Macomb reserves the right to withdraw the Request for Proposal at anytime for any reason. Submittal of a Proposal by a company, agency or individual confers no rights upon the company, agency or individual nor obligates the City of Macomb in any manner. Funding for this project is provided by a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Public and Intermodal Transportation.
