Operations Supervisor

We are seeking several highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Operations Supervisor at our Massachusetts transit agency.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting our team with your ability to motivate personnel, build morale, and promote team effectiveness. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will coordinate and implement various administrative and operational activities.

This multi-faceted position, requires supervisory abilities. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent interpersonal skills coupled with quick-thinking customer service temperament.

Candidates must have:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Prioritization, complex issues analysis, and sound decision making skills.
• Proficient computer abilities.
• Adaptability, quickly accepting challenges and learning new skills.
• Understanding of safety standards and the willingness to enforce them when necessary.
• Disposition to assist management in execution of special projects.
• Proof of employment eligibility in the United States .

Pre-employment Controlled Substance Testing and on-going random drug and alcohol screenings, a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check and a background check, required.
